It hasn’t been confirmed whether the DLC will indeed be on another disc with the PC version of Borderlands 2 GOTY, but given Gearbox’s reputation for ripping gamers off, I wouldn’t be surprised if it isn't. And Gearbox has even confirmed that they plan on releasing new content after the GOTY edition release (which also isn't covered by the Season Pass, and with no further Season Passes). That’s right, there are several bits of DLC missing from the list, with only one Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack, and it is named Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 1, suggesting that there will be an Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 2 (actually just released at the time of publishing this), at the very least (probably more after that), on the way. They can only but laugh at the laments coming from the people out there who bought the game and all the DLC separately over the past year, costing them easily over a hundred dollars.īut Gearbox and 2K may have the last laugh yet, simply because those of you with a keen eye will have spotted something in the above list. The smart money out there knew this would happen.
